PEN will be granting several classroom mini-grants/classroom stat-up grants to help relieve teachers of the inevitable out-of-pocket money that they have to spend to keep their classroom running. Each grant awarded will be up to $300. Today’s difficult economic environment has burdened many educators and PEN wants to offer a way to alleviate that burden of everyday classroom expenses.
Help with Materials
Classroom Mini-Grants help purchase materials not covered by the school budget or fund that class project you've wanted to try. They can help pay for a wide variety of projects and supplies including: books, software, equipment, audiovisual, technology items, etc. Tell us what you need! Deadline: October 1
Financial Assistance
New Classroom Start-Up Grants provide financial assistance to teachers who are new to the profession or new to their district with the frustrating and expensive task of setting up a new classroom. The grants can help pay for a class project you are passionate to try or to purchase other needed materials not covered by the school budget.
