The Association of American Educators is the largest national non-union educator association, serving members in all fifty states for over 30 years.

In October 2025, PEN of Florida and AAE Florida announced a historic merger, uniting their operations and membership across the Sunshine State and expanding services and benefits for current and future members.

PEN of Florida is now one of the largest state chapters of AAE. This successful merger extends the long legacy of PEN of Florida and unites two longtime partners in educator advocacy.
